Khalid is bringing his live show to the Kuala Lumpur area on 9 December 2026, with a performance scheduled at the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya. The concert gives local fans and visitors from across the region a chance to catch the artist in a live setting, and it lands on the calendar well ahead of the year-end holiday period.
What can audiences expect from the show?
Attendees can expect a full live concert performance from Khalid at the Idea Live Arena. Specific details such as the supporting line-up, set list and stage times have not been confirmed in the information available, so those planning to attend should keep an eye on official channels for updates closer to the date. As with most large-scale concerts, doors are likely to open before the main performance, and arriving early is generally advisable to allow time for security checks and finding your seat or standing area.
Where is the venue and how do I get there?
The Idea Live Arena is located in Petaling Jaya, part of the greater Kuala Lumpur conurbation. Petaling Jaya is well served by Klang Valley public transport, including LRT and MRT lines, along with feeder buses and ride-hailing services that connect the area to central Kuala Lumpur and surrounding suburbs. Visitors travelling from outside the city should check the most convenient rail route to a station near the venue and plan a short onward connection by taxi, e-hailing or bus. Because exact station-to-venue distances and event-night shuttle arrangements have not been confirmed, it is worth verifying the final travel plan nearer the time.
What should I know if I am travelling to KL for it?
Those coming from out of town should book transport and any overnight arrangements early, as December is a busy period in the Klang Valley. Build in extra time for traffic, particularly around Petaling Jaya during weekday evenings. Keep tickets and identification handy, follow the venue’s bag and entry rules, and confirm start times through official ticketing or artist channels before travelling. December also falls within Malaysia’s northeast monsoon season, so packing for possible rain is a sensible precaution.
